Classroom Engagement Recognition
Have you ever heard the saying, "April Showers Bring May Flowers?" It's an old saying that in our current circumstances means that a rough patch can lead to great things.
April was kind of a rough getting used to remote learning and finding out that we would have school this way for the rest of the year. But, May is coming and bringing with it opportunities to show what wonderful pirates you are and how you practice the Pirate RRRs by being engaged in school.
Beginning April 27th you can work toward earning recognition and rewards for staying engaged and doing your school work. Rewards will include wonderful surprises.
- Level 1: turning in work for every class every week
- Level 2: only missing work for one class per week
- Level 3: students who show a high level of improvement in work completion from now until the end of the year
Finally, students who are able to participate in Olweus, either during team time or by answering Olweus questions, will be entered in a weekly prize drawing. To have your name entered in the drawing all you need to do is fill out the Olweus Google Form by Wednesday each week for the rest of the year. The link will be on the CLP Website under Remote learning News. Winners will be announced during weekly announcements.
